Avoiding Hair Disasters With Taaz

Getting your haircut. An easy task for some, a challenge for others. I, unfortunately, fit in to the second category. I have an almost maternal attachment to my hair and I've been known to go over a year without having it cut because I quite simply hate it. I have on of those faces that works with around 2 hairstyles and I'm definitely a girl who suits a more 'grown out' style. My favourite time for me and my hair comes about a month after having it cut when the style starts to fade and it all looks a bit more natural. I actually managed to find a hairdresser who could give me my desired look at the first cut and then I moved away to uni and after a bad encounter with super cuts I've begun to neglect my hair once more.

My main issue is that I fail to accept that whilst a hairstyle may look good on a celebrity or a friend, it might not suit me. Lady Gaga looks great with platinum blonde hair and yellow streaks so why won't I? I also have a fringe issue. With a large forehead I need a bit of fringe to cover it but with an even bigger nose I can't pull off a full fringe and need something more subtle to distract from it. If only there was somewhere I could 'try before I buy' so to speak.
