Today's outfit of the day is actually an outfit of the night. Someone on my personal blog requested a post on my 'typical night out wear' so here we go. This is what I wore for my first night out back in glorious Huddersfield! I've gone from hating to loving Topshop's Polo Crop Tops and blog regulars will know i'm a big fan of a cheeky bit of plum, especially when it goes so well with my Barry M 160 lipstick.
This skirt was one I'd coveted (lapsed catholic, woops) in Miss Selfridge so when I spotted it in the sale for £10 it had to be bought. I'd never really understood the knicker short trend-there's 'knickers' in the name? you know you're going out under dressed? But 99% of that came down to the fact I could never have pulled them off, so this bad boy with it's sheer asymmetric hem is the perfect compromise.
Teamed with my trusty Lita dupes this outfit saw me through the night, got me many a compliment and contrary to appearances, the skirt was easy to bust a move in. What more could I want.
